Corben Hyatt – Head Coach, O-Line   Corben started with the Storm in 2013 as the Offensive Line Coach.  He became Head Coach in 2017. Corben played football at McMinnville High School and Walla Walla Community College before transferring to Western Oregon. Corben is the Executive Director for a nonprofit organization, The Office Group, that helps students prepare and organize for college. Corben and his wife Kristal have been in Bend since 2012.

Tony Graziani – Offensive Coordinator   Tony started coaching for the Storm in 2015. He played football, basketball and baseball at Downey High School in Modesto, California. He then went on to play quarterback at the University of Oregon leading the team to the Rose and Cotton Bowls. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons and played for the Cleveland Browns, LA Avengers and Philadelphia Soul during his 14-year professional career. He is married to Sarah and has 3 children, Ben, Will and Ava. He is an agent with Century Insurance. Tony considers himself the best golfer and athlete on the Summit staff.

Scott Clements – Defensive Coordinator   Currently a PE teacher at Highland Elementary. He is entering his 23rd year of coaching football, 15th at Summit. He is a proud OSU alumni (GO BEAVERS). He has no children, but does have an amazing dog. He is excited about being part of this team and is looking forward to continuing to see it grow into a top-class program.

Jay Brandt – FB Operations   Jay has been coaching football in Bend, OR since 2012; first at Cascade Middle School and then in 2009 he started coaching at Summit High School. He wrestled and played center in football for 10 years in Idaho and finished at Borah High School, winning the state championship in 1982. Jay also played rugby while attending the University of Idaho. He utilizes the work ethic and what his coaches taught him about perseverance in his personal and business life every day. Jay is a Sales Associate for the Pacific Northwest Golf Association and is a competitive indoor rower. Jay is married to his best friend Cynthia and they have two amazing children, Josh and Emma.

Robb Thomas – Wide Receivers   Robb has been coaching at Summit since 2008. He attended Corvallis High School and played for the 1983 State Championship football team. In college, he had the privilege to be a student and play wide receiver for the Oregon State Beavers. That invaluable foundation helped him stay employed in the NFL from 1989 to 1998 with the Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He and his amazing wife Melinda have 3 kids; Cole, Alexa and Brandon. When Robb is not working to help folks get a mortgage to buy or refinance their homes, he likes to mountain and road bike, golf, hike and read books.

Troy Bailey – Defensive Line   Troy joined the Summit coaching staff in 2016. He has lived in Bend since 2005 and trades lumber for Plateau Forest Products. Troy and his wife Robin have three sons, Jackson (16), Brady (13) and Kellen (11). When not working or coaching, Troy enjoys golfing and fishing with his family and friends.

Bryce Elliott – Assistant D-line
This is Bryce’s first year with the Storm. He grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA, spent summers on Lake Almanor, and winters skiing on Mt. Lassen and Mt. Bachelor. Bryce played football and met his wife Kally at UC Davis. After graduating Bryce had the privilege of coaching with Marijon Ancich, the second winningest high-school football coach in CA history. Seeking some adventure Bryce and Kally lived across the country the last 18 years, Atlanta, Knoxville, and most recently Long Island. They have four kids, Rylan, Spencer, Kellen, and Eve, and moved to Bend in January to finally live close to family.  
Matt Sieverson – Running Backs
This is Matt’s first year coaching at Summit.  Born and raised in Bend, Matt attended Bend High School where he played Football, Basketball, and Track.  During his senior year at Bend High, Matt won the Oregon Offensive Player of the Year award and accepted a scholarship to play Football at Oregon State.  Playing four years for the Beavers, he was the Pac-10 player of the week his senior season in the Civil War.  Recently moving back to Bend from Portland to continue his career as a Mortgage Advisor, Matt couldn’t be happier to be back in Central Oregon and serving the community he grew up in.  He has replaced Tony as the best golfer on the staff, but left Graziani the title as the best athlete.
Jared Myers – Safeties 
This is Jared’s first season at Summit. He is an Oregon native but recently moved back after working for 10 years in college athletics. Jared worked as a Video Coordinator at Washington State University and the University of Miami. He’s currently an Appeals Coordinator at PacificSource Health Plans and is enjoying having free time to spend with his family. 

Tyler Mullen – Tight Ends   A 2014 Summit High Grad, Tyler brings his love for high school athletics full circle and beginning his coaching campaign here in 2019. Tyler was a three sport athlete through all four years of high school, playing football, baseball and basketball. With a degree in kinesiology from OSU, he looks to bring passion, energy and safety to the football field to not only make the players the best they can be as athletes, but influence them as young men as well.

Craig Smith – JV Head Coach, Defensive Backs   Craig began coaching at Summit in 2015. He is the Land Development Director for Hayden Homes. Craig is excited for another opportunity to coach and impact the lives of young student athletes. Craig and his wife Meg have two boys, Campbell and Grant. When he is not in the office or on the football field, Craig enjoys spending time with family and friends enjoying the Central Oregon outdoors.

Mike Zacha Kickers   Mike has been a Bend resident since 2005. He was a member of the 1994 Division III National Championship Football Team and currently holds the record for most consecutive starts (43) at Albion College.  Mike enjoys hunting big game, snowboarding, snowmobiling, road biking, traveling and spending time with his wife Lauren and their two sons Brody (6) and Griffin (4).

Jay Tobias – Freshman Head Coach   Jay began coaching for Summit in 2015. He played fullback at Hillsdale College where he walked on and earned an athletic scholarship as a sophomore. He is President of Katahdin Financial Group. Jay and his wife Julie have three sons, Jack, Grant and Hank and a collie named Meg. When not in the office, Jay spends more time outdoors than in the house. Jay loves back country hiking and skiing, mountain and road biking and traveling with his family.

Tim Brines – Freshman Assistant/Defensive Coordinator   Tim has been on the Summit coaching staff since 2015. His 17 years of football coaching experience includes youth, middle and high school/varsity levels. Born and raised in Washington state he and his family have made Bend home for 16 years after stops in Omaha NE and Austin TX. “We’ve loved everywhere we have lived.” Tim is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma WA. While at Puget Sound he was a member of the football team. Logger Up! Tim works as a mortgage loan originator at Prime Lending. His wonderful wife of 20+ years, Krista, is a long time teacher and this fall is enthusiastically on staff at one of the district’s new schools-Skyline High School. Together they are raising 3 sons-twin brothers Beau (Skyline HS junior) and Will (Summit junior) and Cal (7th grade).

Peter Ozolin – Freshman Assistant   Peter began coaching at Summit in 2018.  Prior to joining the Summit coaching staff, Peter coached a variety of sports K through Middle School, but football is where his passion lies.  Peter grew up in Tacoma, Washington, and later went to University of Oregon where he played football and subsequently Willamette University for his graduate studies.  Peter co-founded Manzama, Inc. here in Bend, OR in 2010, a provider of marketing intelligence software for professional service organizations. Peter and his spouse Casie have two children, Charlie their son and Grace their daughter, as well as two dogs Sadie and Louie.  Their family enjoys the outdoors and traveling.
